BSU attracts faculty from around the world who enjoy teaching and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students. On average, BSU classes have a ratio of 19:1, which is considerably lower than many similar-sized schools. Our faculty enjoy the opportunity to take a stronger role in their students' academic careers, providing mentorship and guidance.

Unique programs
BSU offers areas of study that you won't find everywhere else, such as aquatic biology, clinical laboratory science, creative writing, sport management, design, or space studies. Even if you aren't planning on being an astronaut, you can still take classes that are out of this world.
Live what you're learning.
As part of the University's mission, all students study global, environmental and civic stewardship as a component of their liberal arts requirements. BSU has been recognized nationally for programs, course and activities that address social and environmental concerns.
