If you like to cheer, BSU is the right school. With a full year of intercollegiate sports, you'll have more than a few occasions to don your green Bemidji sweatshirt. Our football team enjoys a lakeside field where it isn't unheard of to punt field goals right into Lake Bemidji. BSU competes in NCAA Division II for:

After 50 years, BSU's men's and women's hockey programs have built a pretty well-known reputation. In fact, no one has a better home record.  Jon Glas Fieldhouse is right on campus, providing one of the most exciting sports environments in Minnesota.

BSU students don't just like to watch sports, we play. In fact, more than 80% of our students participate in some form of intramural sports. Offered through the Gillett Recreation & Fitness Center, the Intramural program includes:
