Outdoors and more...

Photo of Students sailingSurrounded by the 1.6 million acres and 1300 lakes of the Chippewa National Forest, its no wonder that BSU has the most active Outdoor Recreation Center in the nation. Students get the opportunity to sail, hike, bike, kayak, ski, snowshoe, and fish. In all, there are more than a 1,000 activities and trips throughout the year with full equipment rental through the OPC. We even have a private 240-acre forest with canbins, trails, lake and wetlands for you to explore.

Photo of GillettBut we don't do everything outdoors. The Gillett Recreation-Fitness Center offers four activity courts, adaptable for basketball, tennis, volleyball and badminton. Surrounding the activity courts is a six lane 200 meter indoor track. In close proximity to the track are both free and fixed weight rooms, five racquetball courts and and a state of the art climbing wall. In addition, is a six lane 25 yard pool, large spacious dance studio and numerous cardiovascular equipment.

Just don't forget to study.
