A tight-knit community

A progressive college town, Bemidji is a tight-knit community of people who appreciate art as much as technology and are just as quick to cheer on the Bemidji Beavers.

The city offers a quaint, laid-back feel and lifestyle, while offering all the urban conveniences students rely on. The city's downtown streets are lined with small shops, art sculptures, a community theatre and a science center, all reflecting the importance the community places on art, music and science.  Shopping and restaurants are nearby and cozy coffee shops attract many students from campus.
