ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference commissioner Butch Raymond has announced the continued partnership with Penn Atlantic to web stream the leagues sporting events.
After showcasing men’s and women’s basketball only in 2006-07, the 2007-08 schedule has expanded to include all home football games and volleyball matches in addition to all men’s and women’s basketball contests.
Games are available on a pay-per-view basis for $6.50 per game and can be purchased by visiting the Penn Atlantic web site at http://www.pennatlantic.com.
NSIC football coverage begins Saturday, Aug. 25 at 1:00 p.m. as Winona State hosts Michigan Tech. At 7 p.m. the Augustana College at University of Mary contest will also be streamed at 7 p.m.
This weekend also marks the beginning of Penn Atlantic’s NSIC volleyball web stream. Concordia-St. Paul will host the Golden Bear Classic at the Gangelhoff Center this Friday and Saturday with all matches to be streamed live.
Those interested in watching BSU on the web will have to wait. Bemidji State’s first web stream will take place on Sept. 8th at 1 p.m. when the Beaver football team hosts Minot State University in the 2007 home opener. The first volleyball webcast will be available Friday Sept. 7th when the BSU travels to Northern State University to lift the lid on their 2007 conference schedule.
