Weekend series at South Dakota moved to Omaha; games added

Bemidji State to play four games against South Dakota

BEMIDJI, Minn. - Bemidji State head baseball coach Chris Brown today announced BSU’s updated weekend schedule for March 20-21.

The Beavers will play four games against South Dakota this weekend in a pair of double-headers. The games have been moved to the LaVista Sports Complex in Omaha, Neb. on the campus of Papillion-LaVista High School. BSU was originally scheduled to play USD in a single double-header March 21 in Vermillion, S.D.

Start times for the weekend double-headers are 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20 and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21.

BSU’s scheduled March 20 double-header at Briar Cliff College in Sioux City, Iowa was cancelled Monday due to weather.

Bemidji State is off to an 0-10 start, the worst by a Beaver baseball program since 1975 and the fourth-worst start in school history.BSU dropped all 10 of its scheduled games during its spring Oklahoma-Missouri road trip, being out-scored by an average of nearly nine runs per game.
