BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Bemidji State University baseball program, in conjunction with Bemidji Youth Baseball, will hold a day camp on Feb. 12 and 13 at the Gillette Recreation and Fitness Center on the Bemidji State campus. The camps are open to boys and girls, ages 6-18.

Topics covered include stretching and warm-up routines, infield and outfield fielding techniques, hitting, pitching, catching, base running mechanics and skill-specific drills.

The Saturday, Feb. 12 camp is for boys or girls ages 12-18, and will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration for the Feb. 12 camp is $55.

The Sunday, Feb. 13 camp is for boys or girls ages 6-11 and will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration for the Feb. 13 camp is $40.

Registration fees include instruction from Bemidji State coaches and players; a camp package which includes a t-shirt; autographs and numerous prizes. Lunch and beverages, courtesy of Dave’s Pizza and Coca-Cola, will also be provided. Camp t-shirts are provided courtesy of Play It Again Sports.
