Beaver baseball four-game series shortened due to weather

Bemidji, Minn.
-- Bemidji State University baseball head coach Tim Bellew announced Saturday that BSU’s scheduled four-game series versus Southwest Minnesota State has been shortened to a two-game series due to poor weather in the upper Midwest. Sunday’s scheduled double-header has been cancelled with Monday’s twinbill moved to Veteran’s Field at Minnetonka High School.

The first pitch of Monday’s doubleheader is set for 11 a.m. in Minnetonka, Minn.

BSU currently sits in fifth place in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) with a record of 12-19-1 overall and 10-8 in league play while SMSU is in sixth with a 18-16 overall mark and a 8-10 record in the NSIC.

Bemidji State University, located in Bemidji, Minn., is an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
