DATE: Mar. 29, 2008

BEMIDJI, Minn.
-- Bemidji State University baseball head coach Tim Bellew today announced BSU’s updated schedule for Mar. 29 - Apr. 1.

Bemidji State was originally scheduled to host Concordia-St. Paul this weekend (Mar. 29-30) and Upper Iowa on Wednesday, April 2, but due to poor field conditions at the BSU Baseball Field, those games have been rescheduled. BSU will now travel to Concordia-St. Paul for a four game series on Sunday and Monday (Mar. 30-31) and will swap sites with Upper Iowa, traveling to Fayette, Iowa on April 1 and hosting the Peacocks on April 23.

The first pitch of the double-headers are scheduled for 1 p.m. March 30 and noon on March 31 and April 1.

Bemidji State (5-10-1; 3-1 NSIC) is scheduled to open at home next weekend (Apr. 5-6) when the Beavers host the Winona State University Warriors in a pair of double-headers at the BSU Baseball Field. Game times are set for 1 p.m. April 5 and noon on April 6.

Bemidji State University, located in Bemidji, Minn., is an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
