• With BSU’s loss to Wayne State in its 2005 season finale, the Beavers have lost back-to-back games for the first time since Sept. 13-20, 2003 (L, 23-45 to Chadron State; L, 14-28 at Concordia-St. Paul).
• Zach Garrison’s first-quarter interception extends Bemidji State’s streak of consecutive games with an interception to five; BSU has at least one interception interception in 13 of its last 14 games played.
• Josh Williams’ first-quarter touchdown pass to Anthony Schreiber extended BSU’s streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass to 32. BSU last went without a touchdown pass in a 12-10 victory over Minnesota State on Aug. 28, 2003.
• Bemidji State extended its school-record streak of consecutive games without being shut out to 88. BSU has not been shut out since a 41-0 loss to Minn.-Duluth on Nov. 8, 1997.
- After having gone more than three years without being shut out in the second half of a game, BSU has now failed to score in the second half of each of its last two games played. BSU did not score after halftime in a 38-28 loss to Wayne State (Neb.) in its 2005 season finale; prior to that, BSU’s last game without a point in the second half came at Concordia-St. Paul on Oct. 12, 2002.
• The BSU defense forced two turnovers, recovering a fumble in addition to Garrison’s interception.
- BSU has recorded at least one turnover in each of its last 14 games played and in 71 of its last 77 games dating back to the start of the 1999 season.

• LB Zach Christ: Recorded a career-high 13 tackles and tied his career high with four solo tackles...
• LB Zach Garrison: Recorded his first career interception in the first quarter...
• WR Jonathan Hawks: Recorded six receptions for 52 yards; six receptions ties his career high set on Sept. 3, 2005 at Minot State... 52 receiving yards are his most since a five-catch, 99-yard outing at Concordia-St. Paul on Sept. 24, 2005...
• LB Matt Heber: Recorded seven tackles, including a career-high five solo stops; Heber had five solo tackles in nine career games played entering tonight’s game... Also recorded 3.0 tackles-for-loss.
• DL Seth Iverson: Career-high 10 tackles, career-high five solo stops... tied career high with two sacks for a loss of 13 yards... Also had one pass defensed.
• S Jeremiah Johnson: Finished with 12 tackles (three solo); 14th career 10-tackle game... Needs 71 tackles to become sixth player in BSU history to reach 300.
• WR Anthony Schreiber: Recorded his 10th career touchdown reception at 1:40 of the first quarter, moving him into a tie with Dave Patten 1977 and Eddie Acosta 2003 for 10th on BSU’s career list... Finished with four receptions for 39 yards and one touchdown...
• DL Zach Stafford: finished with four tackles (two solo), 1.5 tackles-for-loss, one fumble recovery, one pass broken up and one-half sack.
• QB Josh Williams: Made his first collegiate start... Attempted 37 passes in the contest, the most by a BSU quarterback in his first career start in the Jeff Tesch era (since 1996)... Jason Smith attempted 34 passes in his 2003 debut, and Ben Morie also attempted 34 in his 1998 debut... Williams’ three interceptions is the most by a BSU passer since Nathan Sannes also threw three against Minnesota State on Sept. 10, 2005... Williams added 35 yards on nine rushes, including a 30-yard scamper in the first quarter, the longest run by a BSU quarterback since Geoff Martinson had a school-record 71-yard run against Minot State on Sept. 1, 2001.
