BSU women back on course
Beavers compete in Concordia College Invitational

Sept. 12, 2005

MOORHEAD, Minn. --
After a one-year hiatus, the BSU women's golf team was back on the tee box last weekend as it traveled to Detroit Lakes, Minn. to compete in the Concordia College Invitational hosted at Wildflower Golf Course.

The Beavers were unable to compete in the team competition due to lack of participants but freshman Jenna Schurman (Sauk Centre, Minn.) carded an 85 Sunday on a very difficult course.

Although neither of BSU's student-athletes were able to crack the top-25, they showed marked improvement from day one to day two, shaking off the season-opening jitters to come back strong in the second day of the event

The Beavers are back on the road next weekend as they travel to Moorhead, Minn. to participate in the Dragon Invitational at The Meadows Golf Course.
