DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (Wildflower Golf Club) -- Neil Rude (Sr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) and Josh Dale (So., Pequot Lakes, Minn.) turned in top-10 performances as the Bemidji State University men's golf team leapfrogged Concordia University-St. Paul and University of Minnesota, Crookston in the second round of the 2007 Fall Central Regional Tournament Tuesday to finish third with a 300-304--604 (+32).
Rude carded an even 70-74--144 (E) to pace the Beavers and finished tied with Winona State University's Jeff Porter for second place individually. Dale, a newcomer to the BSU contingent, was just two strokes back (71-75--146; +2) locked in a tie for sixth place.
Winona State took top the team honor posting a two-day total of 285-297--582 (+6) and held a 12-shot lead over its closest competitor, Missouri Western State University. The Griffons were led by Aaron Lisenbee who fired a 72-71--143 to earn medallist position and finish as the only participant under par after the 36-hole event.

The BSU men will be back in action this weekend (Sept. 29-30) when they travel to Winona, Minn. for the Winona State Invitational.
