VERMILLION, S.D. (The Bluffs Golf Course) -- Bemidji
State University sophomore standout Jenna Schurman
fired a 43-43--86 (+14) 18-hole total at the weather-shortened
University of South Dakota Invitational at the Bluffs Golf
Course in Vermillion, S.D. Monday. The Sauk Centre, Minn.
native earned 19th place while leading the Beavers to a 394
and seventh place in the event.
The University of North Dakota took home team honors carding
a team total of 319 while each of its four counted scores
came from top-seven finishers. Heather Snavely of Dakota Wesleyan
University solidified medallist honors holding a two-stroke
lead over the rest of the field with a 38-38--76 (+4).
Bemidji State will be back in action April 14-15th when the
team travels to Yankton, S.D. to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate
Conference Tournament.
