Quickly: A high-skill forward who has the ability to be one of the CHA’s leading scorers... 2002 CHA Rookie of the Year should again center BSU’s second line of forwards... 54 points through two seasons leaves Riddell as BSU’s second-leading active scorer (57, Andrew Murray).

2002-03 (So): All games: 4th on team in scoring (8-14=22); 6th on team in goals (8); t-2nd on team, t-25th in CHA in assists (14).
• Career-long seven-game scoring streak (3-8=11) snapped vs Findlay in CHA Tournament quarterfinals (3/14)... Had seven consecutive games with an assist, longest streak in BSU’s Division I era.
• 3-9=12 points in last 10 games; 5-5=10 points in first 26 games.
• Streak of four consecutive games with a goal scored snapped vs Findlay (1/31)... Streak had tied Brendan Cook for longest streak of the season by a BSU player and the second-longest streak in BSU’s Division I era.
1-1=2 points vs Union College (10/26/02); first points of the season, snapped four-game streak without a point dating back to last year... Hit two pipes in Game 2 vs Union College, hit three in the two-game series... 2001-02 (Fr): Scored just three points in BSU’s first six games, but caught fire to finish second in the nation in rookie scoring... First CHA player to win four conference Rookie of the Week awards.
Second on the team; t-9th in CHAin scoring (14-18=32 points)... Third on team, t-10th in CHA in goals scored (14)... T-third on team in assists (18)... t-5th in CHA, t-44th in the nation in short-handed goals (1)... Tied for team lead with game-winning goals (2)... Led CHA, 2nd in the nation in freshman/rookie scoring (32/0.91 ppg)... Fell just one point shy of CHA single-season freshman scoring record (33; Andy Berg,Air Force, 1999-00)... Only Yale’s Chris Higgins (1.15 ppg) topped Riddell in rookie scoring (0.91 ppg), although Riddell’s 32 points were one more than Higgins.Only Western Michigan’s Patrick Dwyer (34) and St.Cloud State’s Peter Szabo (33)scored more net points amongst rookies than Riddell - but Dwyer played 38 games to Riddell’s 35, and Szabo played 42.

Goal, assist in Niagara series (2/1-2/02)... Assist in Game 1; first goal in Game 2... Assisted on first goal in BSU’s 5-1 win over Air Force (2/8/02)... Assisted on both BSU goals in 2-2 draw with Air Force (2/9/02)... Three assists in Air Force series (2/8-9/02) helped run scoring streak to career-high five games dating back to 1/26/02 win at Ferris State... 1-5=6 points during streak... Game-tying goal vs Wayne State (2/22/02); first game-tying goal of Riddell’s career... Two assists at Ala.-Huntsville (3/9/02).

Prior to BSU: Played for the Camrose Kodiaks of the AJHL in 1999-00... Led the AJHL in scoring and was named League MVP... A member of the Viking Cup Selects and the AJHL All-Star Team... Was named the Camrose MVP and won the Source for Sports Cup... In 2000-01, was named MVP for the Omaha Lancers of the USHL and led Omaha to the Clark Cup championship.
