Quickly: Will open season as BSU’s third goaltender but is the future in net for the program... An early commitment to North Dakota and perhaps on the road for a future NHL roster spot until suffering a season-ending neck injury last season in the USHL... Was ranked 30th amongst North American goaltenders in the final NHL Central Scouting rankings before the 2002 NHL Draft.

Prior to BSU: One of three Topeka Scarecrows players from 2002-03 on the BSU roster this year (Luke Erickson, Ryan Miller)... Named Goalie’s World Magazine/USHL Goaltender of the Month for Dec. 2002; 6-2 record for the month with a .928 save percentage and 1.88 GAA... Was leading the USHL with 22 wins in goal before suffering a season-ending neck injury against Lincoln, Feb. 11, 2003... 22-10-3 record in 36 starts for Topeka with a 2.62 goals-against average and a .896 save percentage... Three of 10 losses came in overtime... Also had two assists.
Spent 2001-02 season with Sioux Falls Stampede... AWHL Rookie of the Year and Goaltender of the Year for Billings Bulls in 2000-01.
