• Missed CHA season freshman scoring record (33, Andy Berg, Air Force 1999-2000) by one point; tied Riddell for second (32); just sixth CHA freshman to score 30 points in a season.
• Tied Riddell’s BSU freshman single-season scoring record (32, 2001-02); just third freshman in BSU’s Division I era to score 30 points.
• Tied for fifth on BSU’s single-season Division I-era scoring list (32).
• 12 goals fourth-most in a Division I season by a BSU freshman.

2003-04 (Fr): Just the fourth player in BSU’s Division I era to score four goals in the first six games of a season, and just the second freshman; others: Shane Kalbrener 2000-01 (4-1=5); Jeff McGill 2001-02 (4-3=7); Andrew Murray 2001-02 (4-2=6)... Career-best three-game scoring streak snapped vs Ala.-Huntsville (2/20); 1-3=4 points during streak.

CHA Rookie of the Week after scoring first career goal vs Clarkson (10/17); first true freshman to score a goal in season opener since Andrew Murray vs MSU-Mankato (10/12/2001)... Scored BSU’s only goal in 3-1 loss to Minnesota State (10/24).

Assist at Findlay (11/7)... Two goals at Findlay (11/8); scored game-winner on power play in first period and empty-net goal in third; first career multi-point game... Assist at Minn.-Duluth (11/15)... Assist at Merrimack (11/22).

CHA Rookie of the Week after Connecticut series (11/25-28); tied for team lead with career-best 2-2=4 points in series; power-play first goal in Game 1; goal, two assists in second period of Game 2, assisted on game-winner; +2 for series.

Tied season high with six shots on net vs Wayne State (12/5)... Assist vs Wayne State (12/6)... Goal in win at Ala.-Huntsville (12/13).

Goal, assist vs Findlay (1/31); just fourth BSU Division I-era freshman to score 10 goals in a season; first unassisted goal of the season... Assist at Minnesota (2/7)... 1-2=3 points in St. Cloud State series (2/13-14); assist in Game 1; goal, assist, tied season high with six shots on net in Game 2; series ran scoring streak to career-best three games... Scoring streak snapped vs Ala.-Huntsville (2/20); sat out Game 2 of Huntsville series (2/21) win injury; first DNP this season... 1-2=3 points at Air Force (2/28); all three points came on power play; power-play goal was 30th point of the season, making him just the sixth freshman in CHA history (3rd at BSU) to reach that plateau.

Scoreless in Niagara series (3/5-6); first series in 2003-04 in which Erickson had been held scoreless (scoreless vs Ala.-Huntsville, 2/20, but sat out Game 2 of that series)... Two assists vs Findlay in CHA Tournament semifinals (3/13); fifth multi-assist game of the season.

Prior to BSU: One of three Topeka Scarecrows players from 2002-03 on the BSU roster (Ryan Miller, Layne Sedevie)... Second-team All-United States Hockey League (USHL) selection in 2003 after finishing second in the league in scoring (31-40=71 points)... Joined Lincoln’s Ryan Potulny (35-43=78) as only two players in the USHL to top 70 points in 2002-03, and Erickson was one of just five players with 30 or more goals... Finished +20 on the season with 10 power-play goals and three short-handed tallies on 198 shots... Acquired by the Scarecrows from the Lincoln Stars in November 2002... Despite playing only part of the season in Topeka, still finished as team’s leading scorer (25-32=57 points in 61 games)... Named USHL Offensive Player of the Week for both Topeka and Lincoln, earning the honor for the Stars on Oct. 28, 2002 after a seven-point week and again in December for the Scarecrows after a seven-point week.

Fourth-line center for Team USHL during the league’s All-Star Game, Feb. 4, 2003 in Green Bay, Wis.

Coached at Roseau High School by current BSU head women’s hockey coach Bruce Olson... Helped lead the Rams to the 1999 Minnesota State Championship.
