2003-04 (So): Settled into left defense position on BSU’s third line... Played in 28 games, including each of last 16 games of the season... Sat out Game 1 of Merrimack series (11/22) to snap streak of five consecutive games played, but played third line defense in each of BSU’s last 16 games and 17 of its last 19... Three-game scoring streak from 12/6 vs Wayne State to 1/3 vs Air Force (2-1=3 points).
One shot on net in collegiate debut vs Clarkson (10/18)... Drew first career penalty at Connecticut (11/28)... Scored first career goal, first collegiate point vs Wayne State (12/6)... Goal, tied career high with two shots on net at Ala.-Huntsville (12/11)... First career assist vs Air Force (1/3)... Played Game 1 of Niagara series (1/9); first opening-night appearance in a series since 11/14 vs Minn.-Duluth... Played both games at Wayne State (1/23-24); +3 rating for series; first time playing both games of a weekend series since 11/14-15 vs Minn.-Duluth; career-high four shots on goal in Game 2; five shots in series, seven shots in previous 12 games played... 2002-03 (Fr): Sat out the season for playing major-junior hockey.

Prior to BSU: Was the top-scoring defenseman in Ontario’s Central Junior A Hockey League in 2001-02, tallying 15-42=57 points in 63 games... Earned Best Defenseman on Team and Player of the Week awards for the Pembroke Lumber Kings, and was a CJHL All-Star and a member of the CJHL All-League Team.
