Picked up his fourth win in four starts with a 5-3 win over Findlay (1/31); saved 22 of 25 shots faced, allowed just one goal in game’s final 50:24... Improved to 4-0-0 in four starts against league opponents, ran winning streak to four consecutive starts.
Saved 37 of 42 shots faced, both season-highs by a BSU goaltender, at No. 5 Minnesota (2/7); allowed just one even-strength goal in first two periods of play; put on a goaltending highlight show in the second period making numerous spectacular saves to keep BSU in the game... Made a kick-save with his skate straight in the air while laying on the ice which FOX SportsNet commentator and former Minnesota head coach Doug Woog said may have been “the most spectacular save ever at Mariucci Arena...” Allowed more than three goals in an appearance for the first time in his career and saw a four-start winning streak come to an end... Did not play in St. Cloud State series (2/13-14) after taking a knee in the forehead late in Game 2 of Minnesota series (2/7); first series since Wayne State (12/5-6) without an appearance.
• CHA Rookie of the Week after posting a win and a tie in Ala.-Huntsville series (2/20-21); improved to 5-0-1 in six starts against CHA foes; first series this season starting both games; allowed just one even-strength goal for the weekend; saved 27 of 30 shots faced in Game 1 draw (2/20); 14 saves, two goals allowed in Game 2 win (2/21); 2-0-1 in three starts against Ala.-Huntsville this year.
Started at Air Force (2/27) and earned the win, but was lifted after allowing fourth goal in 45:50, most goals allowed to a CHA foe this year; saved 21 of 25 shots faced, improved to 6-1-1 against CHA.
