Posted 29 starts in net recording a 11-10-5 overall record... Became first goaltender to earn First-Team All-CHA honors since Grady Hunt (2000-04) earned the all-conference award following the
2003 campaign. Began starting role on everyday basis after senior goaltender Layne Sedevie suffered season-ending injury Oct. 28 at Niagara... Started 27 of BSU’s final 29 games between the pipes including an eight-game unbeaten streak in which he was 7-0-0 stretching from a 12/1 victory over Wayne State to a 3-2 victory over No. 8 Colorado College Dec. 29th in which he turned away 40 Tiger shots.
• CHA Defensive Player of the Week after moving into first place on BSU’s Division I shutouts list posting a sixth career blanking in a 3-0 win over Robert Morris (11/11)... Added one to his own record and moved into third on BSU’s all-time shutouts list turning away each of Wayne State (Mich.) 21 shots to help BSU earn a 1-0 victory (12/1). Recorded 40-or-more saves in back-to-back wins over Ala.-Huntsville (12/16) and Colorado College (12/29)...Put up a season-high 44 stops versus the Chargers and then recorded 40 saves versus CC... Also added a third 40-plus save contest Feb. 2 with 42 in a 3-1, 60-
minute victory.
• Earned CHA Defensive Player of the Week award for 42-save, victory over the nationally-ranked Tigers. Was 9-2-2 heading into the semester break... Would gain only victories at Ala.-Huntsville (2/3) and versus Ala.-Huntsville (2/16) for remainder of the season.
Was in net for the Beavers’ final 12 games of 2006-07 posting a 2-8-2 record in those starts... Allowed 3.49 goals per game during that stretch while getting only 2.66 from the BSU attack...Started BSU’s CHA Tournament Semifinal game versus Robert Morris and allowed a career-high seven goals in the 7-5 loss.
Finished junior campaign leading the CHA with a 3.03 GAA; First among conference goaltenders in league contest with 2.51 GAA... Posted CHA’s best league wining percentage (.583) and sat 36th in the country in all games (.554)...Eight CHA wins led all conference goalies.
2005-06 (Sophomore)

Started season 3-1-0 in first four starts, then went 2-5-2 in nine starts from Nov. 18 at Ferris State to Feb. 3 at Ala.-Huntsville; had a 2.63 GAA and saved at .910 during that nine-start skid and received just 2.22 goals per game of support from the BSU offense... Rallied to go 3-1-0 with one no-decision in final five starts, but lost starting job to Layne Sedevie and has not played since Feb. 25 at Niagara.
Started, allowed two third-period goals with 41 saves in BSU’s 3-2 win at Minn.-Duluth (10/7); second consecutive start with 40+ saves, set career high for saves in a period with 19 in the third on 21 shots faced; held UMD to 0-for-6 on the power play; recorded 400th career save in the second period... 29 saves, three goals allowed in victory over Minnesota State (10/14).
Started at Air Force (10/28); allowed four goals on 25 shots, suffered first regular-season loss since 2/25/2005 vs Minn.-Duluth; had been 5-0-0 with a 0.99 GAA and .954 save percentage in five previous appearances against Air Force (4 starts)... 25 saves, 1 goal against in win at Wayne State (11/11); 15th career win.
Allowed career-high six goals on 29 shots in 6-1 loss at Ferris State (11/18); recorded 500th career save in first period... 26 saves, 4 goals against in loss to Niagara (12/2); third time in four starts allowing four or more goals; allowed four or more goals just three times in 17 starts last year... 21 saves, 2 goals against in 2-1 loss to Lake Superior State (12/9)... 28 saves, 2 goals allowed in 2-1 loss to North Dakota (12/16).
Fifth career shutout at Robert Morris (1/6); 26 saves... Blew 3-0 lead in 3-3 draw with Wayne State (1/13); has been in goal for only two games in BSU’s Division I era in which it has failed to win a game when leading by three or more goals... Four goals allowed, 53 total saves in two-game sweep of Robert Morris (2/17-18); first series this season starting both games... Allowed nine goals, 66 saves in two-game series at Niagara (2/24-25); no decision in Game 1 after receiving a 10-minute misconduct and being replaced by Layne Sedevie; faced 42 shots in Game 2 loss.

Records Set in 2004-05

• BSU freshman-record four shutouts (first freshman in school history with more than one shutout).
• BSU Division I-era freshman record 12 victories; previous record was seven wins, set by Bob Tallarico in 1999-2000; first freshman goaltender at BSU with 10+ wins since Adam Pavlatos went 13-4-1 in 1996-97.
• In CHA games only, finished second in league history with a 1.25 goals-against average (behind only Greg Gardner’s 1.05 GAA in 1999-00) and third with a .936 save percentage (trailing Gardner’s .951 in 1999-00 and Scott Munroe’s .938 this year).
• First goaltender in CHA history to record back-to-back CHA Tournament shutouts.
• Streak of 177:41 consecutive scoreless minutes in goal from March 5-26, 2005; BSU Division I-era freshman record; second-longest Division I-era streak at BSU.
• Final 1.80 goals-against average second-lowest by a qualifying goaltender in BSU history and lowest since Jim Robberstad posted a 1.78 GAA in 1963-64.
• One of just two goaltenders in CHA history to finish a season with a goals-against average of below 2.00, joining Niagara’s Greg Gardner (1.53, 1999-2000).

2004-05 (Freshman)

Only two goaltenders taller than Climie on NCAA Division I rosters in 2004-05 - Brown’s Kevin Kliman (6-4) and Harvard’s John Daigeneau (6-4)... Three of five losses came in overtime... Allowed more than three goals in an appearance just three times... 11-1-0 in 11 starts and one relief appearance against College Hockey America opposition, including 2-0 in CHA Tournament.

Made collegiate debut in relief of Layne Sedevie vs Ferris State (10/23/04); saved six of eight shots in 24:18 of work; no decision... Earned first collegiate start vs Bentley (11/13/04) and posted a shutout on 17 saves; first BSU goaltender since Jim Scanlon on Jan. 3, 1979 to record a shutout in his first career start; Scanlon defeated Wisconsin-Eau Claire 17-0 on 12 saves; first BSU goalie to win first career start since Neil Cooper vs St. Scholastica (7-3) on Nov. 1, 1996... Played third period in relief of Layne Sedevie, Nov. 23 at Wayne State; saved all five shots faced in 17:49 of relief work... Second career start at Lake Superior State (12/3); ran scoreless streak to 111:37 dating back to Ferris Stte game (10/23), streak snapped at 7:46 of the second period; allowed five goals on 20 shots in overtime loss... Dropped 4-3 overtime decision to Western Michigan on Dec. 17; 20 saves.

CHA Rookie of the Week after winning both games of BSU sweep of Air Force, Jan. 7-8... After BSU allowed two goals in the first 38 seconds of Game 1, Climie entered and saved all 17 shots he faced the rest of the way... Set a BSU Division I-era record by playing 59:22 in a relief appearance... Started Game 2, allowed three goals and saved career-high 22 shots in 63:05 overtime victory... First win in three overtime games... For the weekend, allowed just two even-strength goals (three total) in 122:27 of work - a 1.47 GAA and a .929 save percentage... Held Air Force scoreless for a streak of 80:07 from his entrance into Game 1 until an Air Force power-play goal at 6:45 of the second period of Game 2.

Started both games of Robert Morris series (1/14-15); allowed four goals, 24 saves in weekend sweep; three of four goals allowed came on one-on-one breakaways... In Game 1, allowed one goal, seven saves; 24 saves, three goals allowed in Game 2 overtime victory; played 64:48... Held Ala.-Huntsville to one goal, its fewest-ever in a Division I-era home game against Bemidji State, in Jan. 21 road start; career-high 28 saves.

Held No. 12 North Dakota to three goals in 3-3 draw on the road (1/28); allowed only one goal at even strength; 30 shots faced in 64:56 played.

CHA Rookie of the Week after posting second shutout of the season against Wayne State (Mich.) (2/4), became first freshman goaltender in school history with two shutouts; 13 saves in 59:58 of work... Held Robert Morris to one goal, saved 21 shots in 2-1 BSU overtime victory on Feb. 11; allowed only goal of game at 8:49 of the third period, first goal allowed since 17:04 of third period at North Dakota on Jan. 28, snapping scoreless streak at 116:32.

Allowed two goals in 3-1 loss to Ala.-Huntsville (2/18) with 18 saves; snapped eight-decision unbeaten streak... Suffered second consecutive loss at Minn.-Duluth (2/25); allowed three goals, 16 saves in 59:52 of work... Played 26:31 in a relief appearance against Minn.-Duluth (2/26); allowed one goal, saved five shots; extended to 11 a streak of consecutive appearances without allowing more than three goals.

CHA Rookie of the Week after leading BSU to back-to-back 4-1 victories at Air Force (3/4-5); allowed one goal with 24 saves in Game 1, assisted on Brendan Cook’s empty-net goal; allowed one goal with 18 saves in Game 2... In four games against Air Force this year, Climie went 4-0-0 and allowed just five goals in 242:27 of work - a 1.24 goals-against average.

CHA Tournament MVP after becoming the first goalie in CHA Tournament history to record back-to-back shutouts; blanked Air Force, 6-0, with a 22-save effort in the semifinals (3/12), then shut out Ala.-Huntsville 3-0 in the CHA Tournament Championship (3/13) with a 19-save performance... Back-to-back shutouts extended his winning streak to four consecutive starts.

Lost 4-3 overtime decision to then-No. 1 ranked Denver in NCAA Tournament Northeast Regional Semifinal, March 26... Denver’s first goal at 5:35 of the first period ended Climie’s streak of consecutive scoreless minutes at 177:41, the second-longest streak in BSU’s Division I era and longest by a freshman... Snapped Climie’s post-season scoreless streak at 125:35... Had 16 saves in the first period alone, career-high for saves in a period, en route to career-high 45 saves for the game... Also snapped streak of 15 consecutive appearances without allowing more than three goals...

Prior to BSU

Spent two years as a dominant netminder for the Truro Bearcats of the Maritime Junior ‘A’ Hockey League... Posted a 30-10-5 record in 2003-04 and led the MJAHL with a 2.61 goals-against average... Rolled up 1,377 saves in 2,724 minutes played last year, saving at a .920 clip... Was a two-time Bearcat Player of the Week, earning the honor in consecutive weeks on Feb. 16 and Feb. 23, 2004... Feb. 16 award came after facing 98 shots in two games, leading the Bearcats to a split with Yarmouth and Campbellton... Feb. 23 award followed a 29-save shutout of Antigonish.... Selected to the 2004 Cavendish Cup first-team as an MJAHL All-Star... Following the season was named Season MVP and with teammate Daniel Turner won MJAHL “Best Goaltending Duo” award... 30 wins in 2003-04 tied for sixth in the Canadian Junior A Hockey League... Fourth with a .921 save percentage...CJAHL comprises 137 teams in 10 member leagues.
In 2002-03, set MJAHL record for consecutive shutout minutes... Was named First-Team All-Star.
