Played in the first 21 games of the season before siting out three contests due to injury... Put together a four-game scoring streak stretching from Nov. 10 to Nov. 18... Scored a goal while adding three assists during the run. Netted his first goal of the season, and fourth of his career, to tie the score at 2-2 late in the third period of a Nov. 15 contest with Niagara. Assisted on two goals in a 7-5 victory over Wayne State (Mich.) (1/6)... The Multi-point game was the first of his career. Fifth goal of his career came on a game-tying shot during the second period of the 2006-07 regular-season finale at Wayne State (Mich.) (2/24). Wore Green and White No. 15 during the first two years of his career.

Prior to BSU
Comes to BSU after a standout campaign in the North American Hockey League, where he led the Helena Bighorns with 29-34=63 points. His 63 points tied for ninth in the NAHL with Chad Costello of Wichita Falls, and Marino and Costello were the highest-scoring 1986-birthdate players in the NAHL. Marino also finished with 109 penalty minutes and was named Helena’s Team MVP on Tuesday.
Marino was a member of the NAHL All-Star Team in February, scoring a goal to lift the All-Stars past the Texas Tornados, 3-1.
Marino was aquired by Helena in July of 2004 from the Fernie Ghostriders. Marino was named Rookie of the Year honors at Fernie in 2003.
