Played in the first 31 games of BSU’s 2006-07 season before sitting out the final two due to coaches decision... Ranked third among BSU defenders with 2-8=10 points and was the Beavers’ second-leading rookie scorer behind only CHA All-Rookie selection Joey Moggach.
Made is collegiate debut at Maine (10/13)... Failed to record a shot or a point in the series but earned his first penalty in game two.
• CHA Rookie of the Week selection (11/6) after he etched his first collegiate point Nov. 4th in game two of the Minnesota State series.
Collected first BSU assist in a 4-2 win over Wayne State (Mich.) (12/2) to spark a stretch of 11 games in which he would notch seven points before capping the run with an assist at Michigan Tech (1/13)... Scored a goal and six assists during the streak. Added helpers in a 4-2 loss at Robert Morris (2/9) and a 4-3 loss to Ala.-Huntsville (2/17) before the season came to a close.
Prior to BSU
Was leading the USHL in defenseman scoring for the Des Moines Buccaneers before being injured after playing 27 games, forcing him to miss the remainder of the season... Before his injury, he scored 7-16=23 points - a total which still led Des Moines defensemen and ranked 12th in the USHL - with a +12 rating, one power-play goal and one short-handed goal.
Was the USHL Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 31 after scoring two goals and two assists and posting a +3 rating after a pair of Divisional wins which helped Des Moines take over first place in the East.
Played three seasons in the USHL, starting with the Waterloo (Iowa) Blackhawks in 2003-04... Played 20 games for the Blackhawks, scoring 1-4=5 points, before moving to the Lincoln (Neb.) Stars... Played 12 games for the Stars and scored no points, then started the 2004-05 season in Lincoln... Scored 3-1=4 points in 20 games before playing the season’s final 40 games with Des Moines...Scored 4-11=15 points for the Bucs and racked up 84 penalty minutes.
Was one of 16 players signed into USA Hockey’s National Team Developmental Program for the 2002-03 season... Scored 1-9=10 points with 50 penalty minutes in 62 games played.
