Oct. 28, 2003 - Alumni Game Set for Saturday, Nov. 1
The men’s basketball program will hold the first annual alumni game in head coach Jeff Guiot’s era. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1, in the BSU Gymnasium. Activities begin with a social in the Beaver Pride Room at 5:30 p.m. The alumni game will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Oct. 23, 2003 - Men Picked Fourth in Preseason Poll
The 2003-04 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Basketball Preseason Coaches’ Poll was announced today with the Bemidji State men’s basketball team coming in fourth while the women’s basketball squad was tabbed ninth.
Also, senior Charles Hanks was honored as the 2003-04 NSIC Men's Basketball Preseason Player of the Year.

Sept. 29, 2003 - Hanks Recognized as Preseason All-American
Senior forward Charles Hanks (Chicago, Ill.) has been recognized on the 2003-04 Street & Smith’s Men’s Basketball D-II Honorable Mention All-American Team, as announced today. Hanks is thought to be the first Bemidji State men’s basketball player to be an NCAA Division II Preseason All-American - BSU was an NAIA institution through the 1991-92 season.
