Previous to Bemidji State: Played last season for the Bremen Roosters of Ludwigsburg, Germany...He averaged 3.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting .459 from the floor and .444 form behind the arc...Posted highs of 12 points and eight rebounds in 99-90 win over Braunschwieg (2/22/06)...has also participated as a member of Team Baden-Wuettenberg...Helped lead his team to a U-20 German Championship and a pair of U-18 third place finishes...was invited to try out for the German National Team.

Personal: Born to Slava and Katherina Baskow May, 30, 1986, the native of Kazakhstan calls Ludwigsburg, Germany home...He becomes the second international student in as many years to be a member of the Bemidji State men’s basketball team...he follows Manuel Guzman who hailed from the Dominican Republic...Baskow is undecided on a field of study.
