At Bemidji State: Named 2006-07 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preseason Player to Watch by the league’s coaches...saw time in 24 of the Beavers’ 28 contests last winter...posted averages of 1.1 points and 1.5 rebounds per game in limited action...recorded career-highs of seven points and six rebounds the first time he put on the Green and White (11/18/05)...paced BSU on the glass versus the Augustana...earned a spot in the starting lineup four times during his sophomore season...averaged three points and 2.5 rebounds per start...BSU was 2-2 when Smith was in the starting lineup including a 84-79 win over 2006 NCAA Division II National Champion Winona State University--one of only four losses handed to the Warriors all season...Sat out during the 2004-05 season as a red shirt.

Miami Pace High School Career: Helped led his team to a 33-5 record as a senior posted career-highs of 26 points, nine blocks and six three-pointers in a game as a prep.

Personal: Born Feb 1, 1985 in Nassau, Bahamas...he plans to major in sport management at BSU...Son of Alexander and Dianne Smith...enjoys playing Xbox 360 in his free time.
