Bemidji State (2006-07): Played in 27 of the Beavers 28 contest last winter, starting four of those games...was fourth on the team in scoring at 7.7 per contest...pulled down 3.1 rebounds...was 76-of-201 for a .378 shooting percentage from the field...shot 19-of-47 from behind the arc for a .404 percantage, third among his teammates...led the Beavers in scoring including two 19 point outings, one coming against Wayne State (Neb.) on Dec. 1, 2006 and one coming against North Dakota on Dec. 5, 2006...recorded his first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Wayne State (Neb.) on Jan. 27, 2007.
Scottsdale Community College Career:
Played for Scottsdale Community College from 2003-05...was
fourth on the team averaging 4.3 rebounds per game...was 51-of-121
from the floor for a .422 field goal percentage as a sophomore
while posting 4.1 points per game.
Foothill High School (Nev.): Was a four-year
member of the Foothill High School basketball team...earned
Second Team All-Southeast Conference accolades as well as
being named as the Most Improved Player.
Personal: Born in Fussa, Japan to Michael
and Jennifer Ramos November 15, 1984...he is one of three
current BSU players to be born on foreign soil...is the only
BSU basketball player ever known to be born in Japan...he
is a pre-law major at Bemidji State...away
from the court Ramos enjoys cars.
