Washburn High School: Shepherd leaves Washburn as a three-time letter winner for the Millers boy’s basketball team. He averaged 8.0 points per game as a senior and helped lead the Millers to a 25-5 record, a Minneapolis City Conference Championship, Section 6AAA Championship and a Minnesota State Class 3A Boys’ Basketball Tournament Championship. He notched 10 double-digit scoring games including a season-high 16-point effort in a 76-44 win over Minneapolis Roosevelt on Jan. 31, 2009.
