Bemidji State (2008-09): Was the Beavers’ assist leader with 85 (3.15 apg), ranking him eighth in overall games and seventh in NSIC games (66, 3.30 apg) only…Had a career-high nine assists in the four overtime loss to the University of Minnesota Duluth Feb. 25 and the mark was the most by a Beaver all season…Posted seven games with at least five assists…Appeared in all 27 games, starting 23…Added 6.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game with a .467 shooting percentage…Also recorded 27 steals, including a career-high five against Dickinson State, Jan. 6…Had six games in double-figures, including a career-best 18 against the University of Mary, Jan. 17.

Crosby-Ironton High School Career: Tesdahl leaves Crosby-Ironton as the Ranger boy’s basketball all-time leading scorer with 1,943 career points. The Mid-State League All-Conference performer averaged 17 points per game and was capable of reaching double-figures in rebounds and assists every night. Set the single season record for assists in Minnesota and the assist record in the Minnesota State Tournament. As a senior he helped lead the Rangers to a 32-1 record, a Mid-State Conference Championship, Section 8AA Championship and a runner-up in the Minnesota State Class 2A boys’ basketball tournament. The four-year varsity starter was named to the Minnesota Class 2A All-Tournament Team and was a Minnesota Associated Press’ All-State second team selection at the conclusion of his senior campaign. Was named the Brainerd Dispatch Player of the Year his junior and senior seasons. Tesdahl’s basketball roots run deep as he is the grandson of legendary head coach Bob McDonald (Chisholm High School) who has been a head coach for 53 years and owns more victories than any basketball coach in Minnesota history.

Personal: The son of Neil and Sue Tesdahl...was born on May 3, 1990 in Brainerd, Minn...spends his free time playing basketball, volleyball, tennis and fhising...is going to major in education at Bemidji State.
