Four Bemidji State University soccer players have been named to the Northern Intercollegiate Conference 2003 All-Conference First Team, announced by the league office today. Behind the game-winner from freshman Katie Meinhardt in the 84th minute, the Bemidji State soccer program notched its fifth win on the season, a school record, with a 2-1 NSIC win over Minnesota-Crookston today at the BSU Soccer Complex. The Beavers totaled four victories in each of their last three seasons.

A day after holding No. 25 North Dakota to one goal in a 1-0 loss, the Bemidji State women's soccer team held Minnesota-Duluth scoreless in the first half. However, the Bulldogs blew the game open with five second-half goals, running away with a 5-0 win over BSU this afternoon in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opener for both programs.
