Duluth, Minn. -- Midfielder Megan Wallner and forward Kelly Hyvare were named to the 2005 Advantage Cup All-Tournament Team at this weekend's tournament hosted by The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn.
Wallner, a sophomore from Bemidji, Minn., made her presence felt on both ends of the field. While contributing to a defense that recorded back-to-back shutouts, Wallner also controlled the ball up and down the sidelines creating scoring chances for BSU.
BSU's first game of the tournament ended in a double overtime, 0-0, tie versus host St. Scholactica. The Beaver attack, spear-headed by Hyvare's two goals, came alive in a 6-0 win over Northland College, to claim a tie for second place in the tournament. The two goals for the freshman from Coon Rapids, Minn., put in the team-lead with three on the season
