BEMIDJI, Minn. - Bemidji State University head soccer coach Jim Stone and his staff are busy preparing for their 2007 summer youth soccer camp schedule. Half day, full day and residential camps are scheduled for players ages 8-19, June 11-15.

Stone's Goals Galore Camps have been developed for players ranging from age eight (8) to 12. During these camps, participants will receive one-on-one training from coaches teaching soccer techniques of turning, passing, shooting and goal keeping in a fun training environment. Players will also have a chance to compete as a part of a team in the camp's 'World Cup' competition.

BSU Varsity Prep Camps are geared towards athletes ages 13-19. These sessions will aid in getting athletes ready for high school and/or collegiate soccer by honing technical, tactical, mental and physical skills in practice sessions, drills and scrimmages. Campers will benefit from the one-on-one instruction they will receive from a coaching staff teaching training techniques from all over the globe. These sessions also feature new challenges, a 'World Cup' tournament and prizes.

Registration fees for the different camp sessions range from $80 for half-day sessions to $350 for residential campers. With a paid registration, all campers will receive a camp T-shirt and soccer ball. Full day and residential campers will receive applicable meals, while the residential campers will receive 24-hour supervision, extra evening games, challenges and videos.
