Bemidji State sets Alumni Game for Aug. 18
Any and all former Beaver soccer players are invited to return

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University head soccer Jim Stone has announced that the soccer team will kick off its 11th season of competition with help from its alumni in the squad's annual Alumni Game. The August 18th exhibition pits the current BSU roster against its predecessors.

The game is scheduled for at 12:00 p.m. at the BSU Soccer Field. Admission is free and the public is encouraged to attend.

In addition to catching up with your favorite soccer alum, the game will provide the first opportunity to catch a glimpse of BSU's new freshman class in action.

A social is being planned for all participants, past and present.

If you are an alum of the BSU soccer program and are interested in breaking out the old spikes, call head coach Jim Stone at (218) 755- 2773 for more information.

The Beavers are coming off a season in which they went 10-6-2 overall and 6-3 in NSIC contests.

The team reports to campus for fall drills Aug. 11 and will open its regular season 14 days later (Aug. 24) when it plays host to Northern Michigan University in a 1 p.m. tilt at the BSU Field.
