Apr. 11, 2008

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The snowy conditions around the Bemidji area has postponed softball play for at least the next week, the team has announced.

Bemidji State University was scheduled to travel to Gran d Forks, N.D., today to take on the University of North Dakota, and the Beavers were to take a trip to Bismarck, N.D., April 12 for a doubleheader with the University of Mary.

Both the games have been canceled with no make-up date yet announced.

Also canceled are both would-be home opening series’ April 15 and 16 with the University of Minnesota, Crookston and U-Mary.

The Crookston game has yet to be rescheduled, and the Beavers will travel to Bismarck for a doubleheader with the Marauders instead of them coming here on April 16. The first game will begin at 2 p.m.
