Snow eliminates any chance for a BSU home game this season

Apr. 27, 2008

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University softball team today announced that the lone home game of the season with Northern State University has been moved to Aberdeen, S.D.

The snow in the Bemidji area has taken away any chance of a true home game this season, even though the Beavers will be considered the home team at the opponents field.

The first game of the doubleheader with the Wolves is scheduled to take place April 29 at 12 p.m. BSU was scheduled to travel to Wisconson-Superior that day, but the game has been cancelled for now, with a chance of being rescheduled.

The Beavers are currently 4-21 on the season and 2-14 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play. A sweep over the Wolves (5-31, 3-11 NSIC) would move BSU ahead of NSU and into the eighth spot in the league.
