Two inches of snow and a 27 degree day didn’t stop the Bemidji State University women’s cross country team from competing at the UMD Pine Hill Invitational, Oct. 10. The team finished fourth with 129 points out of five teams that ran. The top performer for the Beavers was junior Kristi Buerkle (Stacy, Minn.), who finished 35th overall and 23rd in runners competing for a team score with a time of 25:40.
