Northfield, Minn. - On Saturday at the Carleton Relays,
leading the way for the Bemidji State was sophomore Steve
Schreiber (Chisago Lakes, Minn.) placing first in the high
jump with a leap of 6’4”. BSU received another
first place finish from junior Jason Carlson (Milaca, Minn.)
in the 200m dash with a time of 22.27. Jason also placed
third in the 400m dash with a time of 49.03. Senior Steve
Leuer (Maple Grove, Minn.) ran a 4:02.06 in the 1,500 run,
which gave him a seventh place finish. Rounding out the top
ten for BSU was junior Corey White (Winthrop, Minn.), who
placed tenth in the 800m with a time of 1:59.79.

Bemidji State has a busy week ahead with one change on the schedule - instead
of hosting the Beaver Relays on Saturday, April 26th, BSU travels to the Jamestown
Invite. On the docket, BSU travels to Moorhead, Minn for the Cobber Outdoors
tomorrow (Tuesday) and then the 4x100 and 4x400 men’s relay squads will
compete at the Drake Relays, Friday through Saturday, April 25-26th.
