a vault of 6’8 1/2”, was crowned champion in the

this spring season - including a BSU record jump of 6'9 1/2"

from behind to win the heptathlon title at the 2003 Northern
Sun Intercollegiate Conference Multi-event meet, hosted by Northern
State, today and yesterday. Sophomores Travis Schwarz and Ben
Mettling took eighth and ninth, respectively, in the decathlon
event.

the meet has been cancelled due to inclimate weather. The
team will be back in action April 12th, when they travel to

paced the Beavers to a 22nd-place finish as she took 65th overall

Winona State (76) as it notched 108 team points. UM-Duluth has
now won the last 11 cross country team titles. The top five
