DULUTH, MINN. -- At the Pine Hill Golf Course on Saturday,
the Bemidji State cross country team finished eighth
at the Pine Hill Invitational, hosted by Minnesota-Duluth.
Sophomore Christa Pribula, who is fresh off a Northern
Sun Intercollegiate Conference Runner of the Week last
Monday, led the Beavers with a time of 24:10.4 on the
6K course. The East Grand Forks, Minn., native placed
20th overall.
The University of Minnesota led the whole field with a team score of 37. Sara
Fredickson from UM-Duluth was the individual champion with a mark of 22:33.5.
Sophomore Jaclyn Thomforde was second for BSU coming in 52nd (25:44.1) while
freshman Ali Judkins was 79th (26:53.4), senior Jami
Peterson was 108th (28:08.5)
and junior Janel Budenski was 110th (28:09.1). Freshman Crystal
Price ran individually
and took 122nd with a time of 29:07.3.
The NSIC Championships in Duluth, Minn., will take place Oct. 25th. The meet
is hosted by the Bulldogs.
