Beavers Finish Fifth at NSIC Championships;
Pribula Takes Fourth; Repeats as All-NSIC Performer

DULUTH, MINN. --
At the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Minnesota-Duluth, the Bemidji State cross country program placed fifth with 122 points. The Beavers were led by All-NSIC performer, sophomore Christa Pribula, who took fourth overall with a time of 23:34.6.

Pribula now has taken first on the squad in all four invites on the year. The East Grand Forks, Minn., native finished ninth at the 2002 Championships to be recognized on the all-conference team as well.

Rounding out the team finishers are sophomore Jaclyn Thomforde, who was 28th (25:34.8), freshman Ali Judkins, who was 31st (25:42.3), junior Katie Dippel,who was 37th (26:08.8) and freshman Carissa Ray, who was 50th (27:22.6).

Minnesota-Duluth earned the 2003 team title with UM-D’s Sara Fredrickson winning the individual crown with a mark of 22:19.5.

NSIC Coach of the Year honors went to Neal Mundal from Winona State. The Warriors took second behind the Bulldogs.

The top 10 individual finishers are named to the All-NSIC Team.

The Beavers finished third at the championships last season.
