Pribula leads BSU in Cross Country opener

MOORHEAD , Minn. -
[results] - The Bemidji State’s cross country squad competed in its first meet of the season on Friday afternoon, running in the Dragon Open held at the Ponderosa Golf Course. BSU ran against some tough competition in Division I opponents South Dakota State and North Dakota State.

Senior Christa Pribula (East Grand Forks, Minn.) was BSU’s top individual, finishing in 25th place. Junior Nicole Friend (International Falls, Minn.) was close behind Pribula finishing in 27th place.

“We did so so for out first meet of the season,” said eighth year coach Craig Hougen. “Give us six weeks and we will be pretty good.”

Bemidji State will next be in action as the host the Maple Ridge Run on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
