MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -[results]
Bemidji State traveled to Minneapolis to compete in the Roy
Griak Invite which featured 24 NCAA Division II schools. The
meet was held at the Les Bolstad Golf Course put on by the
University of Minnesota. Bemidji State finished in twenty
first place with a team score of 582 and an average team time
of 26:19 in the 5K race. Bemidji State finished second among
Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference teams, finshing behind
Concordia St. Paul. The University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse finished
in first place with a total team score of 60.
The Beavers were lead by senior Christa Pribula
(East Grand Forks, Minn.) who finished in 72nd-place overall
with a time of 24:48. Junior Nicole Friend (International
Falls, Minn.) was the next Beaver to cross the finish line,
finishing in 104th-place with a time of 25:38.
Next weekend is Homecoming for the Beavers. Bemidji
State will host the Homecoming run on October 1st at 9:00
a.m.
