Judkins grabs top finish for Beavers
BSU ends sesaon at North Central Region Championships

- [results] HAYS, Kan. - Ali Judkins (Jr.; Bemidji, Minn.) had the best finish for the Bemidji State women’s cross country team as BSU competed at the North Central Region Championships in Hays, Kan.

The Beavers, who were missing their top two runners in Christa Pribula (Sr.; East Grad Forks, Minn.) and Nicole Friend (Jr.; International Falls, Minn.) due to other obligations, finished the meet in 24th place with an average time of 27:33.57. Judkins finished in 131st place with a time of 26:26.90 and was followed closely by teammate Adonia McCormick (Jr.; Coleraine, Minn.) who finished just two runners later in 133rd place with her time of 26:40.92.

Top 10 Finishers: 1. Victoria Martinez, Adams State College (21:08.04); 2. Esther Komen, Western State (21:20.36); 3. Michelle Icban, Adams State College (21:25.13); 4. Shannon Payne, University of Colorado - Colorado Springs (21:34.51); 6. Brittany Somers, Adams State College (21:45.00); 7. Lavenna Mullenbach, Adams State College (21:45.85); 8. Emily Mortensen, Adams State College (21:51.39); 9. Aimee Nielsen, University of South Dakota (21.56.22); 10. Heather Beresford, Colorado Mines (22:09.18).
