GRAND FORKS, N.D. -The Bemidji State cross
country team traveled to Grand Forks, N.D. to open its season
in the Ron Pynn Invatational held at the Ray Richards University
golf course. Seven teams competed in the invitational, BSU
ended the day in sixth place with a total score of 154. The
University of North Dakota captured first place with a score
of 33.
The Beavers were lead by freshman Genna Ironi (Sauk
Center, Minn.) who finished in 26th place with a time of 21:28.
Junior Jillian Schuster (Browntown, Minn.)
finished just eleven seconds behind Ironi finishing in 31st
place.
The Beavers will next be in action on September 23th as they
travel to Minneapolis, Minn. to compete in the Roy Griak Invite.
The meet is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m.
