Beavers to take part in North Central Regional
Freshmans look to make impact at Regionals

BEMIDJI, MINN. -The Bemidji State University Cross Country team will travel to Vermillion, S.D. to compete in the NCAA Division II North Central Regional, hosted by the University of South Dakota on Saturday.

The Beavers will continue to look for strong performances from freshman Staci Letourneau (White Bear Lake, Minn.) who took home All Conference honors as she finishd third at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championship back on October 20th. Freshman Brittany Becker (Grand Rapids, Minn.) and Kristi Buerkle (Forest Lake, Minn.) also look to make an impact at their first regional competition.

The top five teams that place as well as the top two individuals not on a team that is in the top five will move on to the NCAA Nationals set for November 17th in Joplin, Mo.

The womens 6,000-meter competition is set to begin at 11 a.m. at the Don Baker Cross Country Course.
