April 17, 2006 - Falkenhagen signs Leafblad to National Letter of Intent
Bemidji State University head volleyball coach Kim Falkenhagen has today announced the signing of Anna Leafblad (Coon Rapids, Minn.) to a National Letter of Intent for the 2006 season. The addition of Leafblad brings the 2006 signing class to five.

April 13, 2006 - BSU adds balance and depth with four signees
Bemidji State University head volleyball coach Kim Falkenhagen has today announced the signing of four high school seniors to National Letters of Intent. Brie Groskreutz (Reedsburg, Wis.), Marissa Hinshaw (Anchorage, Alaska), Allison Kunde (Burnsville, Minn.) and Laura Vonasek (East Grand Forks, Minn.) have each made the decision to play for the Beavers and will enroll at BSU in the fall of 2006.

Dec. 19, 2005 - Beavers to host Reverse 4 Co-Ed Tournament Feb. 4
Bemidji State University volleyball head coach Kim Falkenhagen has announced that the team will be hosting a Reverse 4 Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament Feb. 4, 2006 at the BSU Gymnasium. Members of the campus community, Bemidji and surrounding area are encouraged to form teams and compete.

Nov. 10, 2005 - BSU suffers season-ending loss to No. 3 Concordia-SP
The Bemidji State University volleyball team's 2005 season came to an end Thursday night at the Gangelhoff Center on the campus of Concordia University-St. Paul. The No. 8 seed Beavers were swept by the No. 1 seed CSP by the scores of 30-12, 30-12, 30-23 in NSIC Tournament quarterfinal action.

Nov. 8, 2005 - BSU to face Concordia-St. Paul in NSIC Tournament
The Bemidji State University volleyball team travels St. Paul, Minn. Thursday for the 2005 NSIC Volleyball Tournament. BSU (3-30; 0-14 NSIC), the No. 8 seed, will have its work cut out for it as its first round match-up pits its against No. 1 seed and nationally-ranked Concordia-St. Paul (24-4; 14-0 NSIC).

Nov. 4, 2005 - BSU falls to UM-Crookston in 2005 regular season finale
The Bemidji State University volleyball team dropped its final match of the 2005 regular season, 3-0, to the University of Minnesota-Crookston Friday at Lysaker Gym in Crookston, Minn. The Golden Eagles completed the season series sweep of the Beavers by the scores of 30-17, 30-22, 30-22.

Nov. 3, 2005 - BSU looks for first NSIC win of 2005 in season finale
The Bemidji State University volleyball team hits the road this week for its final regular season contest of the 2005 season when it travels to Crookston, Minn. to battle the University of Minnesota-Crookston. The match is slated for Nov. 4th at 7 p.m. The teams are separate by just one win in the conference standings, and with this being the last game on either teams schedule, BSU could sneak into a tie for seventh place with a win over UMC this weekend.

Southwest Minnesota State University's Jen Otto posted a double-double of a match-high 14 kills and 15 digs to lead the Mustangs past the Bemidji State University volleyball team 3-0 tonight at the BSU Gymnasium. SMSU dropped the Beavers by the scores of 30-18, 30-21 30-21.

Oct. 25, 2005 - BSU ends five-match skid with win over St. Cloud State
Bemidji State snapped a five-match losing streak in impressive form Tuesday dropping the visiting St. Cloud State Huskies 31-29, 22-30, 30-25, 28-30, 16-14. Brittney Burns (Henderson, Minn.) and Alicia Beaman (St. Paul Park, Minn.) posted double-double totals in the five-game marathon.

Tuesday the team welcomes St. Cloud State University for a 7 p.m. non-conference affair while the Beavers turn their focus back to the NSIC Friday at 7 p.m. versus Southwest Minnesota State University and again Saturday at 3 p.m. for a battle with Wayne State College.

Oct. 7, 2005 - Beavers sweep Upper Iowa to end 10-match losing skid
Bemidji State University senior Christa Anderson (Siren, Wis.) blasted a career-high 21 kills while hitting .265 (21k-8e-49ta) tonight as the BSU volleyball team put an end to its 10-match losing streak with a three-game sweep of Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa. The Bemidji State University volleyball team was defeated in non-conference play Thursday evening as it traveled to Eau Claire, Wis. to face the Blugolds of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. UWEC, ranked No. 17 team in the latest NCAA Division III American Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches Poll, needed just 60 minutes to dispense of the Beavers sweeping the match by the scores of 30-12, 30-19, 30-25.

It was a sweet home coming for the Bemidji State University volleyball team. In its 2005 home opener the Beavers defeated the University of South Dakota, 3-1 (30-24, 26-30, 30-24, 30-21) to gain its first victory of the season, snapping a 12-match losing streak in the process.

The Bemidji State University volleyball team (0-12; 0-0 NSIC) breaks the seal on its 2005 home and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference seasons this week by hosting a trio of contests in the BSU Gymnasium. May 18, 2005 - BSU adds libero/blocker camp to summer schedule
Bemidji State University head volleyball coach Kim Falkenhagen has announced that she has added a libero/blocker camp to her summer youth camp itinerary. The libero/blocker camp, geared for players in grades 6-12, is set for July 19-21 and will accompany BSU's setter/hitter camp which is scheduled for July 12-14 and is aimed at players in grades 8-12.

May 4, 2005 - Beavers Add Staehnke to 2005 Volleyball Roster
Bemidji State University head volleyball coach Kim Falkenhagen today announced the addition of junior college transfer Carlea Staehnke to the Beavers' roster for the 2005 season. The signing of the outside hitter, who most recently played at Rainy River Community College, to a national letter of intent brings BSU's incoming class to seven including a trio of junior college transfers and four incoming freshmen.
