ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Bemidji State University volleyball team has qualified for the 2007 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament to be played Nov. 6 and Nov. 9-10.
This years quarterfinal games will be played on Tuesday, November 6 at the top four seeds. The semifinals and championship will be played at the highest remaining seed on Friday, November 9th and Saturday November 10th.
The eighth seeded Beavers take their 10-16; 6-12 NSIC mark into the tournament to battle No. 1 Concordia-St. Paul Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in quarterfinal action. The No. 1 seeded Golden Bears look to make it their fourth straight conference title. CSP heads into the tournament after being ranked No. 3 in the Oct. 29 American Volleyball Coaches’ Association Division II national poll. The Golden Bears are currently riding a two-match winning streak coming into the NSIC tournament.
The Beavers are in search of their first win in the three-year history of the event. BSU is 0-3 all-time and 0-2 versus Concordia-St. Paul in the NSIC Tournament. Last fall CSP discarded the Beavers in straight games, 3-0 (30-10, 30-21, 30-14)

Match A - No. 6 Northern State at No. 3 Wayne State 7:00 p.m.
Match B - No. 7 University of Mary at No. 2 Southwest Minnesota State 7:00 p.m.
Match C - No. 5 Winona State at No. 4 MSU Moorhead 7:00 p.m.
Match D - No. 8 Bemidji State at No. 1 Concordia-St. Paul - 7:00 p.m.
Friday, November 9 - Semifinals
Match E - Winner of No. 6 at No. 3 Seed vs. Winner of No. 7 at No. 2 Seed - 5:00 p.m.
Match F - Winner of No. 4 at No. 5 Seed vs. Winner of No. 8 at No. 1 Seed - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 10 - Championship
Championship Match - Winner of Match E vs. Winner of Match F - 7:00 p.m.
- tournament champion receives automatic qualification to the NCAA Division II North Central Regional Tournament
*Tournament seeding is based on regular season finish.
