Sophomore Season (2004): Battled a knee injury in 2003 that kept her out of 10 total matches including nine of 10 at one stretch.

Freshman Season (2003): Appeared in 53 games, tops among the first-year players...Posted a career-best 11 digs vs. Mary (9/6) and was the starting setter for five matches prior to her knee injury against St. Scholastica (9/23)...During that five-match stretch, averaged 37.3 assist per game including a personal-high 48 assists against Winona State (9/19)...Amassed 30 or more assists in four matches, including 31 in the season-ending contest against Wayne State (11/15)...During the week of Sept. 15th, McCannell was recognized as the Beaver Pride Athlete of the Week for totaling 84 assists, nine digs and five blocks in three matches...Averaged 4.77 sets per game and 1.57 digs per game on the season...Led the team seven times in assists.

Prior to BSU: At Neelin High School, McCannell was a member of the Provincial AAA championship teams in her final two seasons...Was tournament MVP her senior year...Selected as a graduating All-Star...The Spartans were ranked #1 in 2001...Co-captain for two straight seasons...Graduated with honors.

Personal: Born July 28, 1984 in Brandon, Man...Daughter of Daryl and Saru McCannell...Major is undecided...Father, Daryle played baseball and hockey at Bemidji State...Red-shirted in 2002.
