Sophomore Season (2007):
Will be looked upon to play a defensive role along with being
a second setter for the Beavers this coming season.
Freshman Season (2006): Played in more games
than any freshman on the roster with 110, which was also second
most among her teammates...second on the team in assists with
99 (0.90 a/g)...Finished fifth on the team in digs with 278
and recorded a career high in digs with 28 against the University
of Mary on Sept. 28, 2006...She accumulated 38 kills (0.35 k/g),
which helped her garner the top hitting percentage among her
teammates at .190...She also recorded 27 aces which was most
among her teammates...Kunde recorded one double-double last
fall versus St. Scholastica on Sept. 2, 2006.
At Apple Valley High School: A decorated setter from
Apple Valley High School, Kunde brings size to the middle of
the BSU offense....While at Apple Valley High she was named
as her team’s Most Valuable Player and team captain...at
the conclusion of her senior campaign she also earned all-conference
and all-state accolades...She was named Second Team All-Metro
by the Minneapolis Star Tribune and Third Team All-Metro by
the St. Paul Pioneer Press...After her prep career had concluded,
Kunde traveled Europe with Team Bring it USA...While across
the Atlantic she set for her teammates ass they played teams
from all over Europe including teams from Germany, Italy and
the Czech Republic...Played Club Volleyball for Northern Lights
for the past six years--the same club program Brittney Burns
and Brittney Carlson came through...An excellent student, she
has earned Academic All-State status and is a member of the
National Honor Society...Will have five years to play four.
