Sophomore Season (2007):
Will add some strength to the middle for the Beavers...could
also get some chances from the outside.
Freshman Season (2006): Played in 80 games during her
freshman campaign...recorded 67 kills (0.84 k/g) with a eight
kill game versus the University of Mary on Oct. 21, 2006...third
on the team in blocks with 42 (0.52)...eigth on the team in
attack percentage with .047, fourth among freshman...recorded
nearly a .140 hitting percentage during home contests.
At Blaine High School: A three-time letterwinner at
Blaine High School, she earned all-conference honors as a senior...In
her final season with the Jaguars, she also led the team in
total blocks...Also played basketball at BHS...played for Blaine
Juniors.
Personal: Is the daughter of Gary and Carol Leafblad...Born in Fridley, Minn. October 23, 1987...Plans to major in criminal justice and social work while at Bemidji State.
