Coach Bitter on Sampson:
“She is a powerful, powerful hitter. She has amazing
exploding power. When I watched her during her tryout and
last year with her junior olympic program, I was really impressed
with her skills. She is not only a good offensive player,
she is also a very good defensive player and has a great blocking
ability. Playing outside hitter in high school she also got
a good chance to play defense so that is something she is
going to offer--a six-foot defensive player. She is one kid
I can throw in the middle and she can also play outside. She
is going to offer this program so much power. In fact, she
probably coming in as one of the top power hitters on the
roster.”
