Pre-Bemidji State: A junior college transfer from Spokane Falls Community College, Solum enrolled in classes at Bemidji State in the spring of 2009...After playing her freshman year at Western Oregon University, Solum transferred to Spokane Falls Community College were she had an outstanding sophomore campaign...She helped lead her team to a 30-20 overall record while earning first team all-conference...She was also named to the INWC and Wenatchee All-Tournament team while being named the teams most valuable player (MVP) award.
At Mead High School: In high school she was a three-year varsity player and helped lead Mead High School to three consecutive Washington State 4A championships...Solum also excels in the classroom as she was a consistent member of the Mead High School Honor Roll.
Personal: Born in Sacramento. Calif. on January 14, 1988...She is the daughter of Matt and Dianne Solum...A proposed sport management major.
